We all seem to fall into the rhythm of society, all seem to bow down to the way things are in one way or another. Yet as writers, we also enjoy giving a collective "Fuck You" to the very society we are born into...and by no means is this a bad thing...We play our part, and in the cover of night, we play a different part...a part where we step outside of it all and do as we please, do what feels right. Society says we are creeps, we say that people are just sheeps, walking along, grazing through life, never doing the things that make us feel free. We do that....we do something we love, and it gives us a freedom that average joe citizen will never experience. My point ? Well perhaps I have none except this: To Nace's parents I say, your son dedicated his life to achieving a piece of freedom. To the vast majority of people, he was little more than a criminal with a particular talent. Perhaps even you hated what he did, wished he would have done more with his life, something more acceptable, something that joe citizen would have done. But Nace did not...he went the other route and we love him for it. He made a million heads turn, he put his "freedom" in the face of those who will never have it, never understand it. He made a huge impact on so many people, many more, I'd venture to say, than had he carried out his life like the rest of the sheep. No one pays attention to them, no one is inspired by the sheep. Nace has left a legacy, he died a hero, and no one can ever take that away from him. Be proud, be very very proud.... Carpe Diem....life is short, enjoy it to the fullest, whether people love you or hate you, enjoy it while you can. Long after you are gone, you are still present. Rest In Power Nace.....
